Awesome Start

   We have had an awesome start to fourth grade.  The students are adjusting to the new schedule.  Please remember to check the calendar in the planner for upcoming test dates. 

Social Studies
  In social studies we will be studying basic map skills which included using a compass rose for directions  and a map legend.  The studies will be doing a map skill project in the future.

ILA
 In  Language Arts we are working on writing complete sentences.  We will be writing and using all four types of sentences.   We do some silent reading every day and I ask that reading be encouraged at home as well. 
We will be reading a realistic fiction from our reader.
